Dr. Faiz Ahmed is a highly skilled researcher with expertise in developing polymer/ceramic composite solid electrolytes for high-density Li-Ion, Li-S, and S-Si batteries. He has also conducted electrochemical studies on highly acidic fluorosulfonyl imide-based electrolytes and additives for battery applications. Additionally, Dr. Ahmed has experience synthesizing highly acidic imide-based polymer electrolyte membranes for Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells and developing a metal-organic framework for glucose and hydrogen peroxide detection. He has held research positions at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Grenoble Alpes, and Konkuk University.
